INGREDIENTS
Chayote squash--------------1
Green chilly-------------------1
Wheat flour--------------------2 cups or as needed
Butter or ghee or olive oil---1 tbsp
Salt to taste
METHOD
- Peel off the skin of chayote and remove the seed inside.Cut chayote in to pieces.
- Now grind chayote and green chilly to a smooth paste.Add little water if needed.
- Add a pinch of salt to it and keep it aside.
- Now take wheat flour in a bowl and instead of adding water for kneading the dough use the above ground chayote paste.
- Now apply ghee or oil in palm and knead it good like the usual chapathi dough.
- Make small dumplings and roll it using a rolling pin.Then cook both sides in a hot griddle.(Do the same way you make usual chapathi)
- Serve hot and enjoy this healthy roti.
